Ughhhh I completely feel your pain. I have a female that is almost 4 and a male who just turned one. When I got the male he was puppy pad trained, but didn't want to do it at my place. My older female would only go on the pad if she was secluded in a room that only had tile. Grr.
So NOW, I'm at a new apartment and cannot gate them in the kitchen. They can't be left in cages because they bark the whole time I'm gone. We've put puppy pads allll over the dining room (where they like to do their business) and sometimes they go on them. However, they still go wherever else they please
