I don't believe that at all - I feed a raw diet ( to my grown dogs not puppies )as well as a quality kibble and my grown dogs are all the biggest

Funny how some of these things get started but i would definitely try the raw diet and if you can get organic beef that would be best - we grow our own so we know whats in it. Be careful of supermarket beef that may have lots of chemicals and or additives in it.
