I was wondering if anyone else on here has had problem with unauthorized charges appearing on their cc? I used paypal to purchase 3 items in two days, and that same day, I had charges from 3 companies, and four days later a charge from yet another. I am having the hardest time getting this resolved and I'm so frustrated and mad
. I've called my cc company 5 times since this has happened and each time I've been told something different. One man I spoke with was condescending and not helpful at all - he told me my best course of action was to call these companies myself and deal with it
so much for your cc being secure. Yesterday I called again and the woman I spoke with told me it has been handled incorrectly from the beginning (they made it a customer service dispute), and it should have been a fraud case!! I am so mad and freaked out! The person even made an e-mail account through a free provider, and I've tried calling the company multiple time, but you never get through. My bf and I are looking to buy a house - have put in a few offers etc. and I an worried this is going to screw up my credit!! I've alerted the credit bureaus, but it doesn't seem like enough. Has anyone else been through this? How did you get it resolved? Sorry so long!
