The vet needs to determine if it is indeed ringworm or something else like hot spots.
If it is ringworm, you are in for a chore! EVERYTHING needs to be bleached down, the dog will need baths with special shampoos and will probably need to be put on meds.
Ringworm spores get in the air and treatment will last a few weeks.
