We just went through a scare that my first vet thought it was ringworm but fortunately it was not. She told me that it would probably take about 3 mos to to treat and be cleared. Mainly cause it is very contagious. You have to be very careful and thoroughly clean surfaces that you might have spread the fungus to. I have read that the dips are really bad smelling and not very pleasant. I hope that your vet will find that it is not ringworm. Good luck.
