Make sure your baby eats small meals regularly at first so that your he/she does not have a hypoglycemic episode which can be scary. Nutri-cal is a supplement that can be given in a tiny amount if your baby skips a meal/is not eating properly OR it can be used if your baby is actually having a hypoglycemic episode to raise the blood sugar. Make sure not to give too much b/c you can have a spike in blood sugar and then he/she can crash again.
