The pup would need to continue to be around children after you bring it home. I've read of some nightmares where people had a new baby and the yorkie would bite them in the face - stuff like that. I would just say to be aware of the situation that could be created by a yorkie not growing up around a baby and then suddenly being thrown out of the spotlight and not being the "only" baby anymore. They will sometimes become jealous. Good luck whatever you decide.
