Abby and Daisy are great w/ kids. I think as long as you teach your children that they are fragile, you know...careful not to step on them, not to pick them up, etc.. it should be fine.
I have a 4 yr old granddaughter that is absolutely in love with Abby!! She says, "she's just my size, Mimi"
