Default I Am Not Fat Just Fluffy

Hi All
I have a problem. My Yorkie, Daisy-Mae broke her leg when she was 3 months old. She Had surgery with a rod placed in her paw. 2 months later
she had the rod removed. The leg healed well. I call her my $5,000 Yorkie.
She is 3 pounds overweight. She is fed 1/2 cup of reduced fat Innova twice daily. Her treats are raw carrots. She is losing, but at a rate of an ounce a month. Should she be losing more. ????? She is not a small Yorkie. Her Mom and Dad weighed in at 9 pounds. I told the breeder that I cannot have a teacup as I have an American PitBull Terrier. When she is looking for more food Ozzy the 65 pounder will drop food in front of her.
Help !!!!! I need advice
Barb
