My DH is 10 + years older than I am. I was just out of my second marriage: again with stupid "boys" (my age). I wanted to be with a man that was done screwing up his life and wanting to really settledown. (He loves to tell me he had been there and done that!
) I had 2 kids, they were 3 and 6.5. His kids were 14 and 17. So he really was already done with rearing kids. But..we have been together for 20 + years now and I would not change a thing!!
***ETA*** My Dad was 20 years older than my Mom...and to think that she passed away first....you just never know....
