My cousin had a tea cup poodle. She also owned a shihtzu. One day while she was sitting at the table the shihtzu growled at the tea cup poodle--both were under the table. The poodle got startled and hit her head on the table leg and died! Tea cup puppies are VERY fragile and that trainer sounds really stupid! I would quit immediately! Get back your money! No large or medium dogs should be jumping on a little yorkie.
I called the AKC and they are having conformation classes at a park. They charge $7 per class. They also have obedience classes. I would email the closest AKC club in the area and find out what obedience classes they have. They even said (in South Florida) the woman who teaches conformation classes allows mixed breed dogs in it. |
