I finally had a talk w/him tonight, and made him talk to me even though he really didn't want to get into it... it turns out he IS jealous of the dogs!! He said that I spend so much time w/them that I don't always get to give him my undivided attention... it never occurred to me... for one i am ADHD and my attention is squat anyway lol and two we have a 3 yr old and a 9 yr old you would think that he would be over that by now lol!! But we have always made time for each other... i told him that i would make sure we get more mommy and daddy time, but that i was going to get a girl yorkie (after teddy is fixed and fully potty trained), that i was going to dress her up in pink frilly dresses and he was to keep his sarcasm to his self!!  i think we have a breakthrough!!!!!!!!! |
My heart is jumping for joy for you! Its very refreshing and always good to have heart felt talks and every great relationship is based on good communications. I'm so happy for the both of you! (BTW, what did he say when you told him you were getting a girl? lol)
