ROFL, Aerrica

. I don't blame you; it would have scared the crap outta me too

.
I'll never forget the time when I was probably about 16, my grandparents had some friends (two older sisters) who lived in this OLD OLD big house....one of those sort of Victorian houses that their father had lived in, so it had to be really really old. It was sort of hidden back from the road but up on a little knoll with trees and shrubbery so you couldn't see it from the road. It was actually close to town, but when you were there, you felt like you were a million miles from anywhere. Anyway, they had all this old furniture and stuff, and I always felt kind of weird in the house (Grandpa kept his burros there, so we were there a lot, but usually outdoors).... Anyway, one night we were having dinner in their dining room, where I'd never been before; it was kinda dimly lit b/c of the old wiring and lighting and I didn't realize there was a plate glass window at the end of the dining table~ I looked up and all of a sudden, I saw someone looking in at us

. I almost had a heart attack right then and there. I seriously don't think I've ever been that scared in my life! A few minutes later, I realized it was my reflection, but man.....those things stay with you, don't they? Well, it's only been 40 yrs now and I still haven't forgotten it, LOL.
Hope your heart rate has gone back to normal by now, hehe.
