I agree. I can see both sides of the issue. And another thought is. maybe it is best for the child if he doesn't pitch too much. he could ruin his arm before he's a teenager. So why not let the team play and just not have the kid pitch, or let him pitch only part of the game. His parents should be more concerned about his arm than his not being allowed to pitch.
