Coming from someone who was originally looking for a cheaper Yorkie, I can understand those wanting to pay a smaller fee for the actual dog so that they can in fact afford the other things that come with it. In the end though you have to come to the mind set that paying more in the beginning often costs you less in the long run as far as puppies go. But yes I would direct those looking for a pet for cheaper to go to Petfinder.

But it doesn't bother me a whole lot, I just don't look at those wanted ads. You can't expect to get a healthy non-stray yorkie young puppy for free. I just don't like the things on craigslist and such asking for a free 3lb "teacup" yorkie. Do a little research people!
