Thanks for the thoughts. I'd love to get in with him but jeesh - this kiddie pool is only 3 feet across and maybe 8 inches deep. It's tiny and though I'm not big, if I did get in, all the water would go out!

And I can't sit cross-legged either (never could do that).

I did place him in the pool on the weekend and he just stood there - which is GOOD. Then about 10 seconds later he had enough.

So I praised him for that short time. I'll try when the weather gets hot again in a day or so. Maybe I'll put a toy in with him.

Any other ideas?
