Now isn't that extra special? It makes me wonder how many kids said "Ooooh. He pitches too fast. That really scares me!"....
I could more believe them saying "Ooooh...he pitches really good! I wanna pitch like that!" So it's all about the parents.
I was a little league Grandma for a while. It amazed me. I couldn't believe the way the adults acted. The umpire had an ongoing feud with one of the coaches and so he would call the kids out that were on that coach's team. Clearly, we could all see that they were safe. What a bad example to set when they are supposed to be teaching them to be....dare I say it?...Good Sports.....
I have also seen some parents go absolutely beserk. Both on their kids and on the coaches. 
I think the parents should have to stay home.  |
Oh, I know what you mean... everything is just so ugly these days. I played softball then fast pitch for years, all the way through until I was like 15. It was all about who you were and if you knew the umpire and everything. I hated it and it eventually got old so I quit. I used to love it though so that just goes to show how adults will ruin things for kids
