Strange behavior since the move We have had our Yorkie, Brutus for one year. He will be 8 years old in November and he was my sister in law's dog before we had him. He was already used to us, so he made the transition just fine. Now a year later we have moved into a home in a new state while both my husband and I attend graduate school. Brutus has since been demonstrating strange behavior. He can't seem to get to sleep at night (he sleeps in the bed with us) and he doesn't interact with us as much as he usually does. He seems to be miserable here. We live within an hours drive of our families so we visit on the weekends. He loves going back to see the family and returns to our new home miserable. What is going on?
Plus Brutus had had two seizures prior to becoming our dog, after moving in with us Brutus has had three or four seizures over the past year. What is going on?
Also sometimes he can't seem to jump on the bed or couch like he normally seems to be able to do with ease. Very rarely, but every once in a while he seems clumsy, like he can't walk that great for just a split second and then he is fine. What should we do? |
