Toy Breed Hypoglycemia Bacterial infection, liver shunt, and other stresses can cause hypogleciama because they increase the need for sugar. I know Joey's breeder recommended free feeding till the age of 8 months to help prevent hypoglycemia, and he never had an issue with it. Thanks for posting, she's a real cutie.
