Canned higher in moisture which is better and much less processed than kibble. As long as you keep the teeth clean (like you have to do regardless of what food you feed), I think it's good to feed a high quality canned food.
You could always try to mix just a tiny amount of kibble (like just a few pieces) in with the canned and increase little by little as she starts getting used to it.
