Congrats on your new baby! You'll fall in love faster and harder than you think, despite all the questions and uncertainty at first.
I got Duke at around 7 weeks too, I added water to Bil Jac, the breeder was feeding him that, but the vet also suggested that I get him some wet food as well. I did both for a few weeks then he went back to Bil Jac for puppy ever since, he's 10months now.
I agree with the Nutrical suggestion, great for them and as a training tool too.
