My first Yorkie was a little over 2 lbs. and came into our household that already had a 2 yr. old Samoyed that weighed 60 lbs. Gidget (the Yorkie) ended up being the boss and her favorite sleeping place during the day was to hop up, snuggle in and sleep atop Jingle Bells our Samoyed.
The only problems I ever had were the fact that Gidget would nip at Jingles feet as she went outdoors to go potty -- cuz she was jealous! She was potty box trained. Other than that---they were best of friends for many years. |
