I don't think that the amount of sugar you're giving (per serving) is as big a deal as whether you're buying yogurt with the LIVE ACTIVE cultures in it....there's a TON of yogurts out there nowadays, and a lot of them Do NOT have the live active cultures...which is really what you're buying it for. I have no problem finding plain, but I don't think I could get my dogs to eat it for anything anyhow. The flavored ones are much more appealing to them. I'd look for either the non fat or the low fat ones though. Even the non fat have a fair amount of sugar in them, so just be judicious in their use.
