I can see this ruining an already bad economy. No dog breeders, no need for dog food providers. No dog breeders, guaranteed escalating costs of "mandatory spay/neuter" by greedy vets that will now have a steady demand. No dog breeders, no need for any health issue research. No dog breeders, no need for groomers or groomer supply businesses. No dog breeders, no need for AKC,CKC,UkC,APRi,ACA, etc. No dog breeders, no need for dog shows or events.(agility, fly ball, field) No dog breeders, no need to come to that state for dog show events, thus, no need for hotels or restaurants that support them. The list goes on and on. And amazingly enough, these bills DO NOT effect the puppy mills that supply the big chain pet stores. These stores will still be able to sell puppies. |
Those who want to steal away freedom are a very patient bunch. They'll settle for a little here and a little there...counting on the idea that anyone who opposes these small intrusions will come off as alarmist. They always have some lofty goal attached, which has absolutely nothing to do with the real agenda. |
