Amen to that, but people read
about it and they pass the knowledge as fact, they don't bother to check it out for themselves, and see what the law really will do. Lobbyists working especially hard to defeat this bill were groups that call themselves sporting dog enthusiasts. These groups have close ties to the popular sport of dog fighting, and they sure don't want government breathing down their necks. Please all you ethical breeders, make sure you know what the bill says before you automatically dismiss it. I know some Pet organizations want to do away with all breeding, but don't let the fear of these groups keep good bills from being passed.
