Hello and welcome from another new Yorkie owner. My situation is similar to yours it seems. My DH is also a big man, 6'3", and wanted a "manly dog", a Rottweiler... I wasn't sure he would bond very well with a little yorkie, but he has also fallen in love with our puppy, Mojo. They do look kind of funny when they walk together since Mojo only comes up to his ankle,
. DH kept telling me at first, "Get that bow out of his hair", LOL, and I'd tell him, "It's a ponytail, not a bow". I don't know how DH will feel this winter when I put some clothes on Mojo, though. I know I will try to dress him in camo so DH isn't too distressed over him wearing clothes.
