I have to say....YA THINK?....but the number of puppies that are tied in a sack and thrown in the river has gone way up. The number of pregnant mothers that are dumped in the country to fend for themselves has gone way up. And the best part is you are exempt if you are inspected by a government agency....so if you are USDA licensed....breed away. |
And they wonder why MO has a bad name for puppy mills....We live in a little town that the "dog catcher" or should I say "animal control" is a man that puts out wild animal traps (to catch cats) and then shoots them

!!! And puts them on his burn pile!!! For dogs he just shoots them

!!!!! And the burn pile they go....it is really sad. We on the other hand try to take in any "dumped" animal and try to find them a home or at least take them to the shelter BEFORE our gun happy animal control agent gets a hold of them....
But I agree that the laws need to change and the puppy mills need to be shut down. Just because they have USDA license shouldn't give them free reign...
