  Here is the question
If it was a 10 week old human baby.... What would you do?????

Leaving them to cry in a new home they been in not very long is very upsetting to them and does not build respect or trust that you will help them and it does not build self reliance it builds fear.
They have lost their litter mates, their Mom and all that they have known in one big jump and sent to a place they do not know with a human they do not known, with sounds and smells that they do not know... can one say scared out of their minds.

If a crate is needed, on the bed with you and wean them to the floor, out the door and then down stairs but dogs are social creatures and would much rather be with you as much as they can.
When you wean after they are settled in the new home that is when you do not back down and let them cry a little not right when their little world have gone crazy.
We expect far to much far to fast of our dogs a ten week old baby is just not ready to be alone.
