We have a Weinaramer who is 90 lbs. He was raised with a yorkie in the home. But he was taught that the only way he could be around the yorkie was if he would lay down. Then we would take them and put it at his face. He simply loves the yorkies. We have 3 and he has always been kind and caring. However you shouldn't leave them alone togeather with out watching. It will take time to get them both to understand what they need to do. I hope it works out for you. Our big dog even lets the yorkies eat out of his bowl and never gets mad at them. He is really good natured but you don't know how your GS is going to be. You should always look out for the yorkie. Good Luck. I hope this gave you some hope with this situation.
