They should never be left alone together! The GS will need to be taught to play gentle whenever she is playing with the Yorkie. But even then they should never ever be left alone.

We have a 110 pound GS and he is very gentle with Onni who is only 3 pounds, but we never ever leave them alone together, not even to go to the bathroom. Our GS would never intentionally hurt Onni but his shear size he could hurt her without intending to.
