...wall papering! I'm in the process of redecorating our bedroom. Well, it started that BF was doing it but he got as far as stripping the old wallpaper last weekend... then nothing, he even took two days off work to get it finished!
Today I decided that I was going to attempt to do it myself... I mean, how hard can it be really! LOL.
So off I went upstairs with Amelia, made her a nest in the middle of the bed with some pillows, gave her a selection of toys to keep her amused and set about putting up the wall paper!
Over SIX hours later, paste in my hair, back aching... 2 walls papered with lining paper, one wall papered with patterned paper and one nicely plastered wall that I decided didn't need the lining paper after all and could just be painted... so I'm nearly done!
The patterned paper needs two little pieces putting in on the sides but I need to paint the other three walls first, I don't want to risk getting paint on the pretty paper.
Here's what's been done so far... once I've done the painting and the last bit of paper has been put in then the new furniture can go in. I'm sick of the space savering furniture so we have a nice new bedroom set and bed coming from ikea! YAY!
