 Dry Skin/Scratching Solution!

Okay so Mya had really itchy skin with no rashes or redness or hairloss or anything abnormal except some dandruff in the shoulder blade/back area. The vet gave me some prescription stuff that was to no avail.
I got sick of all the doggie shampoos/conditions/supplements/foods not working so last night when she woke me up to potty, and she was nonstop scratching again I said that's it!
I tried my own solution, and it has seemed to be working thus far! I put Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion on her. Its not the Gold Bond Powder, but it is a thick soothing lotion that I once used for myself on my dry skin/itchy condition on my legs. It has 7 intensive moisturizers and is non-greasy formula. I just spread her fur and rubbed it on liberally, trying to only get it on the skin and not massive amounts of fur she as! Then brushed it through.
I will keep you posted if this therapy keeps working!
