The same happened to us Our Vet had a stroke and he had his asst help him when we got our Minnie and Mickey we went to him and this asst gave minnie her rabie shot but gave it to her in her stomach, I grabed her hand but it was to late. we almost lost Minnie she was very sick for a long time and every time she burped peed you could smell that shot for weeks after. The old vet died we went to him forever as far =back as I can remember he was a very good vet all for the dog. he would sit and cry many times over a dog. But sorry his asst did not know what she was doing. But Minnie made it but I dont know what that shot did to her , My vet now thinks it may be why she was never able to have pups.
