WOW!!! Thank you sooooo very, very much Remi, our AWESOME buddy, and to his mama...pinehaven!! Where to begin...!!! I was so excited to see dakota's box had come when I got home from work today. She was very interested...espeically after I told her it was for her....she sniffed out the whole thing in slow circles...too cute. When I opened it I tried to pull everything out of the box together, which I almost did...but right away dakota started burrowing through the paper and tissue, the first thing she stopped at?? A huge box of treats (which by now is less than full..lol). As I began to unwrap things she kept taking them from me and tossing them around and hopping after them. It was such a relief to see her so happy and playing, she hasn't done much playing since the fire...she just stays curled up next to me, like she is scared something will happen to me.
But she now has some wonderful toys and is loving her new blankie and bed...and boy does she really love that blanket. She LOVES soft things, and lost her favorite blanket, so this was a huge blessing! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I borrowed a camera and am going to try to post a few pictures....but this computer doesn't have any photo software to resize...so please bear with me.
