Unhappy # of bowel movements per day??

How many bowel movements per day does your Yorkie average (or did they when they were a puppy?) Bella is 4 mo. old, and I switched her to Wellness Puppy last week, which she seems to like, but she she seems to have even more bowel movements now than she did before. For example, yesterday she had 6 or 7 bowel movements (over a 24 hr. period) and she only ate maybe 1/4 c. of food. That's about all she eats ever, even when she was on PurinaOne Puppy--sometimes closer to 1/3 c. And I do give her treats everytime she potties in the right place (and I'm home to give her one), but they're just small training treats--Bil Jac ones that I've cut in half because I think those are still too big for her! Sometimes I give her other treats, but in the past couple of days all she gets is one Iams Puppy biscuit (I've been reading about that company and am getting ready to switch to Old Mother Hubbard instead) when we leave her for a few hours (just one a day though) and 1/2 a Bil Jac training treat (Liver, I think?) when she potties in the right place. She always had several bowel movements a day with the PurinaOne, maybe 2-4 just as a guess, but 6-7 times a day just seems like a LOT...like maybe too much!! I thought I was switching her to a better quality food so there would be less waste, not more!
