I was wondering if anybody could help me in choosing a new puppy food for Parker. I am LOST.
When I got him from the breeder she was feeding him Royal Canin, but I was unable to find it anywhere. So, I put him on Iams Puppy, thinking it was one of the better foods. Now I'm hearing that it is really not that great. And Parker has never really been too good on it, he had diarhea for awhile and his vet couldn't find anything "medically" wrong,(she wormed him and gave him a dose of antiobotics for parasites). But I also decided to take him off the Iams wet food, and just give him kibble. That has seemed to be better but he still has soft stools alot of the time (that get stuck in fur,yuck). I took a look around at our ONE pet store in town, they don't carry Innova, Chicken Soup,Royal Canin. They do have the Nutro products, Science Diet and a few others I haven't heard anything about. We do have PetSmart and SuperPet in Ottawa which is only 40 minutes away, but it would be more convenient to get something that is available in this small one-horse-town
