This is a great post! I'm actually making notes right now on what breeds I might not like to own in the future. Right now, I'm a reluctant cat lady, but someday I hope to have dogs only. My cats were such cute babies and they needed a home, so now I have four.
I love all four of my kitties, but the hair and litter boxes are a big PItA. My Rottweiler sheds quite a bit, but his hair is very "heavy" and falls straight to the floor(tile and hardwood only) so it's very easy to sweep up. Every time I sweep up cat hair most of it flies up in the air. Don't you just hate it when complete stangers at the store ask, "You have a cat, don't you?"
