Abbey was spayed two days ago at 6 months old! We dropped her off at 9:00 a.m. and picked her up 4:30 p.m. She was still pretty groggy and slept most of the night into the following day. She really didn't eat or drink much which is expected. But by the evening, she was back to normal. You wouldn't even know that she had anything done! We pretty much have to keep an eye on her to slow her down. Her stitches are the kind that will dissolve....thank goodness! The vet just told us to make sure that she didn't lick them excessively. She also came home with pain medication which we only gave her once.

So glad that it is over!
