This is all I could find: This upscale puppy party is open to the public and will feature unique activities and treats for pets and their owners. Guests also will have the chance to adopt a loving dog from the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society and learn health and training tips from behavioral specialists from Penn's School of Veterinary Medicine. Families can enjoy arts and crafts, play games, or help mend a stuffed animal at the Penn Vet M.A.S.H. tent.
Area dogs will have a woof of a good time by having their photo taken by a dog friendly photographer, seeing into their future with a paw reader, or being sketched by a caricaturist. They can paw-around to howling music then cool off at the Commerce doggie water bars throughout the Park. Audiences will marvel as professionally-trained dogs zigzag, leap and run during agility demonstrations.
A Fox 29 personality will be Grand Marshall and will commence the popular doggy costume parade with area celebrity judges at noon. Adoptable dogs will strut the "red carpet" in the newest fall fashions followed by more than a hundred dogs walking the run away to vie for top prizes for best-dressed, best sports fan, and best dog and owner look-a-like.
The Carnivale of the Dogs is presented by Commerce Bank in partnership with the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, and supported by WTXF-FOX 29, PhilaPets.com, and PAWS.
