I can understand that, I would only have big dogs for more than 15 years after losing a Cockerpoo I had for 14 years when I was rasing my kids. I just didn't want the heart ache. I now think I was so wrong and missed out on what a small dog can bring to a family. I loved the big dogs I had but a lap dog is awesome! I'm glad I have them now.
Please tell her it is worth taking a chance as a new baby will help her heal.
