Get a really good sweater for your new little one. Stick to your guns about going outside. I know I hated taking Kaba outside to pee when it was so cold but I am so glad I did it. She always froze but I think it made her go quicker outside so she can go back in.
One thing I like to do is take treats out with you for the first couple months, every time she goes give her a treat and she will pick up really quickly. Then start to wean off of the treats and give them to her randomly so she doesnt know when to expect them.
