I guess I'd hesitate to keep giving off label doses of Ivermectin without knowing what the problem it. I wonder why the vet didn't do the Ivermectin and Cortizone further apart so he/she could better tell what is going on.
How about doing a steroid shot and if that helps then you can look further into treating/eliminating allergies and if it doesn't you could see what the vet thinks about more Ivermectin?
