I did think about that. We have a bimini cover so there is always shade and we could run him home to the AC if it gets to hot as long as we are on our lake, or dip him in the water. Actually I don't like having my kids out in the heat for too long either so hopefully we will never run into a problem.
With the black hair he has now though I know he gets hot easily and seeks out the shade when in the backyard within a couple minutes.
