Default Think of it like a two year old child

They will test you. I picked up one of mine a few weeks ago, brought her up to my neck for a snuggle, and she promptly bit me on the nose. I had a bruise on my nose for four days. Then a couple of weeks ago she bit me on the ear.

Dogs do that with one another so the owner has to teach them not to nip/bite. Jillian is the only one I have that does much nipping, but what's worked for me is to give her a firm no, then tell her she hurt me and I'm sad, then put her down. A Yorkie's biggest nightmare is lack of attention from their people. Afterward, she will come back and give some kisses. She licked my nose and my ear like she knew she had crossed the line and was trying to fix them.
