[QUOTE=whispersmom2]What are they doing now? This post is a bit old BUT I just wanted to say that I have seen females back up to males and even tie when they were not in heat. I would suggest that you keep them apart til he stays away from her AND then learn the symptoms of a female in heat. It sounds as if you are unsure how to check her and tell if she is in heat and that would be a really good thing for the owner of intact female and male should know..The alternative is to have them altered...[/QUOTE

I have breed many times before, But not with Yorkies. I do know when a female is in heat. and I said that she was not in heat. But everyone kept telling me she was or she would not be letting him. well I still said she was not in heat. and thats why I took her to the vet to have the swab done.I know what got them acting this way also, it was the female bull dog that was around. But even after the bull dog was gone they still tried
Now for an update. they are back to normal and no longer trying to mess around.
