The Frontline and Advantage recommends a mild oatmeal and aloe shampoo for dogs. If you are sure of the shampoo you are using you can call their customer service number and ask them if what you are using is ok. Our groomer has been using Coat Handler on my dogs and it makes their coats really clean and soft. I know it is ok's for topical flea treatments because I checked. Buddy Wash is also ok and is a good one for their coats.
