I think the area on the belly and under the legs is the most sensitive and most difficult area to groom. If you are not planning on showing her then it would not hurt to shave that hair but if you are going to show her then it would be best not to shave the belly hair. I find the best way to do the belly and underarms is to get them to lay on their back. If she just has small mats then you can just nip them out with a small pair of scissors. You just have to work slowly and not pull the hair because that hurts them.
