I beleive that depends on her size as an adult.. My Hopey is 5 lbs. She cannot jump on or off the bed without a "middle" step but she can get on and off the couch. I keep an ottoman at the foot of my bed and it works great for all my pups...
NOW, Tootie, well, he is 16 lbs, and has no problem jumping on the bed, even my daughters very high antique... he jumps up to the window on the door everyday when I drive up... its like ODIE in the house.... bouncy.... lol
