This is what I do for my puppy. I place a harness on her. Then i use a retractable leash. It goes out to 16 ft. she is able to run around and play. Then, I can adjust the leash and have her walk beside me. She is smart and has no problems with that.  |
I have a harness as well and a retractable leash, still nothing though. He won't follow even if I start walking, the leash will stop me. lol. When I tug on it eventually, he just slips out of it.
