I had a dog do this before long time ago and the vet told me to give just a few drops of water in a dropper and drop in his throat to help soften anyfood that may still be stuck.
My dog was breathing fine etc..
It sure can rattle your nerves!!
Give your baby a hug, and he could just be scared from your reaction. I know I scared my boy to death.. didn't mean to but I did.
